KLTV Pet patrol: found mastiff with broken legs needs your help
Smith County Animal Control found this beautiful mastiff on Hwy 64 East near Arp with two broken legs.   She is currently being sedated at a Tyler veterinary clinic, needing very expensive surgery.  

Her owner has been found but she is a single mom with two kids.

Not sure what the future holds for the Mastiff - Her name is Sadie and she needs $2,000.00 in orthopedic care. Owner says she cannot afford.

First, this big guy is Lassiter - a 4 year male lab mix that is available for adoption at the Humane Society of East Texas in Tyler.This is the sweetest big dog.  He is friendly and fun loving and is very playful.  Lassiter has lots of energy and would be best suited in a country home with kids to run and play with.  Lassiter has been neutered and is current on starting vaccinations including rabies. He has been microchipped for identification purposes and when adopted will receive a free gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance. Zoe is a one year old female Jack Russell Terrier. She likes to take walks and is leash trained. She loves to take rides in the car  and likes other dogs.

This girl knows some basic commands and is housetrained. Zoe is very active and may need older children.

This is Peaches, a 7 year old female short haired cat that is available for adoption at the Humane Society of East Texas in Tyler. Peaches was adopted from the Humane Society a number of years ago.

Because the owner had health reasons, she could no longer take care of Peaches so she was returned to the Humane Society. This girl desperately needs a home to call her own.

Peaches is litter box trained. She does not like other cats or dogs and would be best suited in a quiet household where she could be the only pet.

Peaches has been spayed and is current on starting vaccinations including rabies. She has been microchipped for identification purposes and when adopted will receive a free gift of 30 days of free pet health insurance.
