Tyler receives flag flown over Afghanistan | News
TYLER, TX (KLTV)- On Wednesday morning, a Tyler resident presented the city council with a flag that was flown in Afghanistan in Tyler's honor.
Commander Frank Davis of the U.S. Navy Reserves had the flag flown at the United States Marine Headquarters staff at Camp Leatherneck in the Helmut Province of Afghanistan on January 31, 2012.
Davis presented the flag to Mayor Barbara Bass and city leaders.
Bass said it was an honor for the city to receive the flag.
