City offices will observe the following holiday schedule on Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day.

Holiday Garbage Collection
The City of Tyler Solid Waste Department will be closed Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day. No residential garbage will be picked up on this day. The complete holiday week residential garbage collection schedule is listed below.

Classic Stitch at 211 E. Pacific in Gladewater has created a t-shirt design that will benefit the residents of Moore, Oklahoma, who are doing their best to begin picking up the pieces of their lives after the devastating tornado.

The shirts can be bought for a minimum $15 donation. The shirts come in various colors, and the owner will ship to you for added cost if you are not in the Gladewater area.

100% of proceeds from the sale of this t-shirt will go directly to Oklahoma relief efforts.

For the third consecutive year, the City of Tyler has published its Annual Report as an E-Book, with linked video, and as a printed document with QR Codes.  The 20-page report outlines the financial status of the City and highlights new programs and achievements from 2012.
