Come celebrate the holiday season in the country at Blue Moon Gardens, located east of Edom, an art community halfway between Tyler and Canton.

On Saturday evening, December 3 from 5 to 8 p.m., the nursery lights up with hundreds of candles, torches, and luminaries for their annual Luminations celebration.

Carolers serenade outside next to the firepit, while hot coffee and cider warm the hearts and hands. The gift shop is decked out in all its holiday finery. Every group gets a free handmade door swag to take home.

Come join the holiday fun!

Angel Tree deadline extended

Angel Tree deadline extended

Released by the Salvation Army of Tyler:

Thanks to the generosity of Broadway Square Mall and our Corporate Sponsors, The Salvation Army is excited to announce that we are extending the deadline for Angels to be adopted through Sunday December 11 instead of the previous deadline of Monday December 5.

There is a huge need in Smith county this year for children who may have to go without a Christmas and this extension provides more opportunities for all our Angels to be adopted.

There are still over 1500 angels available and with your help we can bring this number down to 0. Thank you for the wonderful support and generosity of the Tyler community and we wish you a blessed Christmas.
