Smith Co. Republican Club meeting Feb. 9 | Events

Released by the Smith County Republican Club:

The next meeting for the Smith County Republican Club will be held on Thursday, February 9 at Traditions, 6205 S Broadway Avenue starting at 6:00pm for those who wish to eat or socialize prior to the meeting. The program will begin at 6:30pm.

This month’s program will be a Candidate Forum featuring individuals who are running in contested Republican primary races for the office of Constable. The forum will include the following individuals: Precinct 2 (Andy Dunklin (I), James Lee); Precinct 3 (Jimmie Blackmon, Scott McAuley, Bob Overman, Dustin Rust (I) and Precinct 5 (Kenneth Bibby, Dennis Taylor (I). We anticipate a well attended function due to three contested races to select important law enforcement officials for our county.
