City Gate meeting tonight in Tyler | Community Spirit

According to City Gate's Facebook page, tonight is a night for music, fellowship, and community at The Castle in downtown Tyler.

The page states, "At this gathering we are going to seek God's guidance to move our unity into some collaborative action plans. We will be identifying and developing "focused interest groups" related to specific needs/ministries so that we can better connect the church and our community to... the needs that speak to our hearts......Boldly asking God to show us the world through His eyes, and moving forward as He calls us.

WHY WE GATHER:
In ancient times, the city gate was a gathering place central to much of what took place in the city related to civic, business, social, and spiritual needs. It was a place to come together and hear of needs in the city and to connect resources to those needs.

The vision of City Gate is to be a catalyst to bring believers together in UNITY as we seek to carry the church(and the love of Jesus) to the streets where people are. Our goal is to help network talents, resources, and ministries together so that all we do can more effectively reach individuals and families, giving everyone in our community the opportunity to experience their fullest potential in life.

Currently we gather once monthly to worship, pray for our community, disciple one another, network, hear stories from the streets, and rally around action plans to meet the needs of those around us."
