Berman honored by Smith Co. Republican Club | Community Spirit

State Representative Leo Berman (R-Tyler) was honored to earn the President's Award at the Smith County Republican Club's annual Presidents Day dinner on Saturday evening, February 25.  Berman was chosen due to his lifelong dedication and sacrifice to the cause of freedom for the citizens of Texas and the United States of America.

In addition, the Texas Alliance for Life PAC has endorsed Berman's candidacy for the 2012 Primary Election for state representative of District 6.  Texas Alliance for Life is a nonprofit organization of people committed to protecting the fundamental right to life of all innocent human beings and to promoting respect for their value and dignity from the moment of conception until natural death.  Executive director, Dr. Joe Pojman, stated TAL's decision to support Rep. Berman's campaign was based on his consistent support for pro-life issues in the Texas Legislature.
