Released by Tyler ISD:

Not sure what to get that person who is inevitably the hardest person in the world to for which to buy a gift?  Another example is trying to buy a gift for someone who either 1) has everything or 2) buys what they want when they want it.

Tab Beall, partner with the law firm Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott, LLP, has recently provided four folks on his Christmas list on wonderful gift:  a donation in their honor to the Tyler Independent School District Foundation.  The donor makes the contribution to the Foundation; lists the individuals who are to be honored and their addresses. The Foundation staff provides a nice card with student art to the honorees, listing the donor’s address—no amount is ever mentioned and kept confidential by the staff.

“The donation can go toward so many of the activities of the Foundation including “A Night Of Shining Stars”—the state and national award winning event which honors the top forty graduating seniors from each of their high schools and the educator who impacted their academic lives in the most positive manner.
